We’re Lookin’ For a Few Good Teams

You’re interested in Buckatabon Tavern & Supper Club’s sports sponsorship program, are ya? So, what’s your jam? Softball? Indoor Soccer? Volleyball? Curling? Whatever you’re into, we’re happy to sponsor a select number of teams each year, but we like to lay out the guidelines for sponsorship before things get too serious, capeesh?

Buckatabon Rec League Team Sponsorship Guidelines

Your team name must be registered as  “The Smug Clams.” You read that right. This is not a joke. The smugger the better.

All team members will be given a coveted “Smug Clam” Jersey T-Shirt

  • We need your shirt quantity and sizes at least 4 weeks in advance of your season start date
  • Available shirt sizes are XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL

Post-game discounts include:

  • $10 pitchers of beer
  • $5 behind-the-bar pizzas

Buckatabon Tavern and Supper Club will pay ½ of the registration fee for your team up front. (Max total sponsorship amount of up to $750) 

If 50% of your team check-ins after games for the total season, at the end of the season we will pay the 2nd half of your membership fee. 

  • How check-in works: If your team has 10 players and you play 10 games, that is 100 total potential check ins. You must make 50 out of a possible 100 check-ins at the end of the season to receive the 2nd half of your registration fee.
  • Check-in binder will be held behind the bar

Teams must supply a season schedule and team roster count

We will sponsor up to 10 teams each season and will only sponsor one team per individual league

We sponsor teams solely at our discretion. Sponsorship one season does not guarantee sponsorship in future seasons.
